REKONSTRUKSI NILAI SIDQ DALAM MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM: KAJIAN TAFSIR TEMATIK TERHADAP AYAT-AYAT KEJUJURAN

This study aims to reconstruct the value of ?idq from the Qur’anic perspective as a
conceptual foundation for Islamic educational management. The research is motivated by
the growing challenges of integrity in education, including data manipulation, academic
plagiarism, misuse of artificial intelligence technologies, and weak institutional
accountability. The study employs a qualitative approach through library research and
utilizes the thematic (maudhu‘i) interpretation method. Primary data consist of Qur’anic
verses related to ?idq, while secondary data are derived from classical and contemporary
tafsir works, books, and relevant scholarly articles. Data were analyzed through the
processes of verse collection, thematic categorization, interpretative analysis, and
conceptual synthesis with Islamic educational management theories. The findings reveal
that the concept of ?idq in the Qur’an encompasses multidimensional meanings, including
?idq al-qawl (truthfulness in speech), ?idq al-niyyah (sincerity of intention), ?idq al-‘amal
(truthfulness in action), waf?’ bil-‘ahd (fulfillment of trusts and promises), and al-??diq?n
(a community committed to truthfulness). The study further demonstrates that these
dimensions are closely related to the principles of transparency, leadership integrity,
accountability, policy consistency, and organizational culture within Islamic educational
management. Based on these findings, the study proposes a ?idq-Based Islamic
Educational Management Model that places integrity as the central foundation of
educational governance. This model contributes a Qur’an-based conceptual framework for
strengthening management quality and fostering a culture of integrity in contemporary
