KONSTRUKSI TEORI DAN PENDEKATAN STUDI KEISLAMAN

Beberapa metode dan pendekatan di perlukan dalam memahami islam, karena secara operasional konseptual dapat memberikan pandangan bahwa islam tidak hanya berwajah tunggal, melainkan berwajah plural. Hal itu diperlukan karena islam sebagai agama tidak boleh di pahami melalui pintu wahyunya belaka, tetapi juga perlu di pahami melalui pintu pemeluknya, yaitu masyarakat muslim yang menghayatinya, dan memperoleh pengaruh dari islam tersebut. Dengan kata lain, memahami islam tidak berarti mencari kebenaran teologis atau filosofis, akan tetapi juga mencari bagaimana islam itu ada dalam kebudayaan dan sistem sosial dengan berdasarkan pada fakta atau realitas sosio-kultural. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konstruksi teori dan pendekatan studi keislaman. Metode yang digunakan ialah studi Pustaka (library research), yaitu mengumpulkan sebanyak-banyaknya teori dan informasi dari bahan pustaka yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konstruksi teori dan pendekatan studi keislaman terdiri dari perkembangan model pendekatan dalam studi islam, pendekatan fenomenologi, dan pendekatan studi sejarah islam.

Several methods and approaches are needed in understanding Islam, because conceptual operations can provide the view that Islam does not only have a single face, but has a plural face. This is necessary because Islam as a religion must not be understood through the door of its revelation alone, but also needs to be understood through the door of its adherents, namely the Muslim community who live it, and gain influence from Islam. In other words, understanding Islam does not mean looking for theological or philosophical truth, but also looking for how Islam exists in culture and social systems based on socio-cultural facts or realities. This research aims to describe theoretical construction and approaches to Islamic studies. The method used is library research, namely collecting as much theory and information as possible from library materials related to the research topic. The research results show that the theoretical construction and approach to Islamic studies consists of the development of approaches to Islamic studies, the phenomenological approach, and the Islamic history study approach.
